Guitar Lessons with Mike
Hi, I’m Mike Burgess.
I have recently moved to the Barossa Valley, South Australia and I am now offering guitar lessons in person in Tanunda.
I have taught all styles of contemporary guitar to people of all ages for over 20 years, privately and in schools. I hold a Bachelor of Music (Adelaide University) and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
I am a fully registered classroom music teacher with a valid Working With Children Check and have recently completed 17 years teaching secondary classroom music and Vocational music Certificates at Pembroke School. I have also performed in a range of music styles and groups for many years around Adelaide.
From beginners to advanced players, I take care to help you learn music you enjoy and connect with. I teach acoustic and electric pop and rock styles, develop song writing abilities and teach more advanced styles like jazz and improvised solos.
